How to add an event to the calendar at
www.StLukesParish.com/calendar.
- First you need an account. Email ChuckAnastasia at Yahoo.com note: replace " at " with "@"
- Get to the Calendar page from StLukesParish.com by clicking calendar in the left navigation menu.
- Click the Login link near the bottom right corner of the calendar page.
- Enter your user name and password. Unfortunately there is no self service password update. If you want me to change your password, send me an email with the new password.

- After logging in you will see a calendar page with a +symbol on each date.To add an event, click the+ sign on the date you want. You can click the next month near the top of the pagetopostevents that take placebeyond the end of the current month. After clicking the + you will get a form, like the one below. Enter the Eventtitle and description, an email address for more information and event url if one exists. Please include the basic what, when, where information in the description, and if available, who to contact for more information.

- You need to select an event category from the following list (church, community, school, general, religious ed) before you can submit the event. I usually enter them as church, community, or general, but the choice isn't important.
- The only tricky thing is entering the time, because the calendar displays time in 24 hour format, 1:00 pm is 13:00, 7:00 pm is19:00 etc.I usually enter the time (with am or pm) in the title anddescription fields and leave the time fieldblank for afternoon events because I think it just confuses people. you can look at some existing events for examples. If there is more than one event on the same day, including the time field (in 24 hr format) willdisplay the events in chronological order.
- If many events are booked on one day, the titles will automatically appearin a short list which expands when you clickit.
- If you want to change an event that you entered, you can open the event by clicking on itthen you will get a choice toedit or delete it. If the same event occurs every day or every week you can enter a number of repeats and the frequencyand the same event will appear on each date.
- After filling in the form, click "add event" to save it or "close" to exit without saving your event.
